Born and raised in Hyderabad, Karthik Madhira's journey began on the cricket field. He excelled at various levels, from U-13 to university matches, fueled by dreams of becoming a cricket star in India. But life had other plans.

A Shift in Direction
After completing a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Karthik's trajectory changed unexpectedly. Personal reasons and an injury prompted him to reconsider his career path, leading him away from cricket and towards academics.

Despite briefly working in another field, Karthik realized his true calling lay in civil services. Undeterred by initial setbacks, including failing in his first three attempts at the UPSC exams, he persevered.

Triumph Against Odds

Balancing Passion and Duty
While Karthik transitioned from cricket to IPS, his love for the game never waned. Currently serving in the Maharashtra cadre as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Lonavala, he continues to inspire others with his dedication and commitment.

Karthik Madhira's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the courage to pursue one's true calling. From the cricket pitch to the police beat, he exemplifies how setbacks can be turned into stepping stones towards success.
