Bihar Board class 12 results were recently announced, and Mrityunjay Kumar, a resident of Siwan, emerged as the Science topper with an impressive 96.2 percent marks. He secured 481 marks out of 500. He completed class 12 from GM Higher Secondary School in Koirigawan, Barharia. His father, Rajesh Prasad, runs a cosmetic ship on Jamo Road in Barharia, and his mother, Mamta Devi, is a homemaker.
Big achievements
Mrityunjay excelled in his studies since childhood but never thought of becoming a state topper. Now, he is determined to prepare for the UPSC exams in the future. The former Chief Secretary of the state, Aamir Subhani, also graduated from the same school.
Success mantra
Mrityunjay shares his success mantra for achieving exceptional grades in board exams. He mentions that students must focus on daily planning and regular revisions for each subject. Rather than devoting hours to a subject, one must study with concentration with no distractions. His father, Rajesh, shares that Mrityunjay used to study for around 8 hours daily. He even ranked 15th in the state in the matriculation exam. His family was sure that he would secure a spot in the top ten this time.

Mrityunjay’s family played a crucial role in his tremendous success. He received immense support from his teachers, parents, and friends. He dreams of becoming an IAS officer. Upon hearing the news of Mrityunjay’s achievement, his grandfather was moved to tears. He hopes of continuing on the path of success by securing admission in one of the top colleges of India to pursue his dreams.
