An X user recently called out Indian railways for crowded coaches and shared how her sister got injured trying to get her child from the crowded gate of the coach.

It feels like every day social media gets a new viral post about someone's bad experience with the Indian railways. The most complaints are about the uncontrollable crowd and how the officials are not doing anything to control it.

Many posts show ticketless individuals sitting on reserved seats resulting in utmost chaos and an unruly swarm of people which can sometimes lead to dangerous situations.

One such incident was shared by an X (formerly Twitter) user, Rachit Jain online describing the disturbing tale of her sister's experience in an AC 3-tier coach.

Rachit took it on X and tagged Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, Ministry of Railways, and RailSeva official accounts and wrote, "I must bring to your attention the dire state of 3AC coaches. Today, my sister faced a harrowing experience while trying to board a train. Overcrowding near the gates prevented her from entering, and in the chaos, her child was left on the station platform. She had no choice but to risk her safety by disembarking from a moving train to retrieve her child, resulting in injuries. It's alarming that passengers paying for comfort are enduring such hardships, including no access to basic facilities like washrooms."

"It's evident that unauthorized passengers without tickets are also occupying space within the train, exacerbating the situation. Please send railway police or ticket checker to solve the chaotic situation promptly. Urgent action is imperative to ensure a safe, comfortable journey for all passengers," he added.
