Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal sings the sacred Hanuman Chalisa in an obvious bid to win Hindu votes. But the big issue is: Association of Democratic Reforms report has indicted him for fielding the highest number of candidates with criminal records.
Bengaluru: With massive exposure by the BJP on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s “development” bluff and a deluge of saffron campaigning for the upcoming Delhi polls, Kejriwal has succumbed to the pressure and is rushing and running at great speed to prove that he is a Hindu.
As UP CM Yogi Adityanath is on a whirlwind campaigning tour and exposing Arvind Kejriwal’s hypocrisy on Shaheen Bagh, it sure has hit him hard.
In a programme organised on a TV channel ahead of the polls, the anchor asks him if Kejirwal is a Hanuman bhakt and even challenges him to sing Hanuman Chalisa.
Arvind Kejriwal did take up the challenge and even sang a few lines from the hymn. The audience there also egged him on.
But his hypocrisy and duplicity stand exposed, as a report by Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) has revealed shocking facts about him and his party.
The report, which deals with issues relating to the candidates of all three parties fighting in the upcoming Delhi elections squarely points fingers at the AAP for its double standards.
This is how Kejriwal cheats you
As per the report and as quoted by a popular website, a total of 672 candidates have filed their nomination for the Delhi elections to be held on February 8. The report surveyed all candidates across different party lines and found that roughly 20% of them (133 candidates) have criminal cases against them, with the percentage of candidates facing serious cases is 15%.
The website added that, AAP tops the list with 42 out of 70 candidates, bringing its tally to 60%, while 36 (51%) among them are facing serious charges. Bharatiya Janta Party has fielded 67 candidates, and 26 (39%) among them have declared criminal cases against them, with 17 (25%) facing serious criminal cases. The numbers for 66 candidates of Indian National Congress are 18 (27%) and 13 (20%), and for Bahujan Samaj Party’s 66 candidates, it is 21 (18%) and 10 (15%).
The report indicts and incriminates the AAP, especially in the backdrop that it has not fulfilled 75% of its promises. All said and done, Arvind Kejriwal, who brags and boasts about clean politics, lies exposed as he is a shrewd politician selling nothing beyond lies and deceit.
