A picture in which Sonia Gandhi is seated while Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot stands in mourning of the 20 brave solders has gone viral
Bengaluru: At a time when every Indian stands united in the aftermath of Galwan clashes in which China killed 21 Indian soldiers, the Congress continues to play politics.
First, it was Rahul Gandhi who questioned the government as to why they were unarmed and went to the extent of calling Modi “Surender”. Then, other Congressmen also played politics.
Now, a picture has emerged in which Sonia Gandhi continues to be seated even as Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot stands in respect of the martyred soldiers.
The Congress held a CWC meet. It was virtual. Ashok Gehlot tweeted a picture in which he is seen standing, but Sonia Gandhi sits while the mourning period of 2 minutes is on.
In the virtual meeting of Congress Working Committee, observed two minutes silence to pay tributes to our brave soldiers, who made the supreme sacrifice on the India-China border. pic.twitter.com/XNO38UNB2H

Netizens were quick to react to this and expose the Congress.

Congress treats martyrs casually
Former PM Manmohan Singh urged the nation to be united in the wake of the clash. But little does he realise that it was none other Rahul Gandhi and others who have played politics over corpses.
Even without realising his party had signed a treaty in the year 1996 not to open fire at the border, Rahul Gandhi questioned the PM over this, only to be tutored by EAM S Jaishankar later.
Later, another Congressman Dalwai mocked the RSS and asked them to go to the border and fight for the country.
Then, in what came as the last nail in the coffin, Congress councillor Zakir Hussain’s conversation with his friend in which he hoped a lot of ills would befall India went viral.
An embarrassed Congress, which did not have any defence in this regard, decided to distance itself from the fiasco, by saying it is his personal choice.
So when Manmohan Singh urged and exhorted the countrymen to be united, he should have also asked his party members to have followed this message of unity.
Manmohan Singh must practise what he preaches.
In this way, the Congress has left no stone unturned to hurt and humiliate the martyrs while it continues to lecture others on deportment.
