According to ANI, Aarti said, "Her business partners used her husband Virender Sehwag’s name, forged her signatures on the tripartite agreement and availed loan of Rs 4.5 crore from the creditors."

Two post-dated cheques were issued to the creditors. And the partners later failed to pay back the loan amount.

According to ANI, due to the default, the creditors invoked the arbitration clause and filed a complaint in the court. During the proceedings, it was shocking for the complainant to see her signature and partite agreement, which she had never signed.

Based on Aarti's complaint, the police has registered an FIR against the accused under Sections 420 (cheating and dishonestly), 468 (forgery), 471 (using as genuine a forged document) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
