An unusual incident profoundly affected Kerala during the arat ritual procession at the Aarattupuzha temple: Two elephants got into a fierce fight, causing chaos among the spectators. The concerning altercation transpired at approximately 10:30 PM, gaining the interest of both participants and authorities.

The intense interaction between the two gold-embellished tuskers led to a tense standoff, causing alarm and hysteria among the assembled individuals. Samakalika Malayalam widely shared the viral video on X, which depicted an elephant aggressively charging towards its counterpart. The subsequent series of forceful movements evoked dread among the audience.

With the situation intensifying and onlookers evacuating to prevent the lives from danger, the elephant squad's prompt reaction prevented a possible catastrophe. By swiftly intervening, the team successfully partitioned the agitated elephants, thereby alleviating the tension and guaranteeing the well-being of all individuals in attendance without sustaining any casualties.

Witnesses were initially alarmed by the incident involving Guruvayur Ravikrishnan and Sri Kumaran, two prominent temple elephants, as the formidable creatures engaged in a struggle to establish their dominance. However, the elephant squad members' prompt intervention effectively contained the situation, averting further chaos and damage.

As a result of the elephants' withdrawal from one another after the confrontation, the temple staff made an effort to regain authority over the animals.  Regardless their initial escape, the elephant squad's successful intervention effectively held the situation, preserved order, and ensured the attendants' welfare, thereby preventing a potential catastrophe.
