Arvind Shetty can be seen in a video that went viral of the former BJP Corporate asking the DCM to protect him from the hatred of a local Shiv Sena member.

The unusual incident video went viral on social media, where a former BJP corporator in the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) protested against the building of a median that prevented entry to his hotel in Chene village on the Thane-Ghodbunder route by going partially undressed. In the video, Arvind Shetty pleads with deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to spare him from the rage of a local Shiv Sena politician.

Therefore, Arvind Shetty has reportedly claimed that Pratap Sarnaik has been the victim of bullying and harassment from Pratap Sarnaik ever since he was elected as a corporator in 2018.

Further, Mr. Shetty added that Sarnaik has held hatred toward me and my business partners ever since I became a corporator. He has misused his authority and power to target our establishments, which have been in operation for more than 20 years. Since I joined the BJP and won the municipal elections, have I broken any laws?
I'm hoping that my pleas reach Fadnavisji and that he comes to my aid, since it seems like no one is willing to speak up against Sarnaik's hegemony.

Sarnaik has remarked, in response to the accusations, that he has always supported developmental works meant for the welfare of citizens in the twin city.
It is important to prioritize legal and ethical practices. It is unlikely that BJP leaders will support unlawful activities.
