A sub-inspector was suspended by Delhi Police after he viciously kicked and struck individuals who were performing Namaz by the side of the road. The area's security has been boosted in response to locals' demands for action.

A shocking video of a Delhi police officer kicking and punching people offering Namaz on the road has gone viral on social media. This incident happened in the Indralok area of Delhi, and now the police officer has been arrested for such a horrible act.

The officer, Manoj Tomar, at the Inderlok police post is seen in the widely shared video attempting to scatter a few men who are praying close to a nearby mosque. He appears to have acted suddenly, kicking two individuals in the back; he even appears to have struck the second man in the neck. Social media users became angry after a fictitious video of the incident was extensively disseminated.

Someone who was capturing the footage can be heard stating that the police kicked them when they were in the "sajda" position, which is a kneeling position.
It is then heard from the crowd that "beat him, beat him" is being uttered as they encircle the police officer.

Tomar has been the target of action, according to Manoj Meena, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North). They have penalized him and put him under immediate suspension.
The situation has returned to normal, and they have requested everyone to uphold law and order in the region in coordination with the locals.

The event took place next to a mosque. The Inderlok police post was encircled by protesters after the event, and they stopped the route. Another video that has been circulated on social media shows a group of people gathered close to the Inderlok metro station.

In the footage, the police officer who is suspended engages in combat with passersby and sustains personal injuries. A few moments later, furious demonstrators stopped the road to call for the police to be fired. The mosque was reportedly packed, so the men were praying outdoors. To keep everything under control, security has been increased in the region.

Maulana Mahmood Madani, the president of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, issued a letter to the Union home minister accusing the latter of damaging the nation's international reputation in addition to deepening an extensive trust imbalance.
When law enforcement turns into the offender, he emphasizes the "long-lasting psychological impact on the Muslim community."
