Uttar Pradesh: Priyanka Gandhi reaches out to students with 60-question test on Rajiv Gandhi

Bulandshahr: Congress general secretary and the party’s in-charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is trying new measures to strengthen the Congress in the state.

It was decided to start an initiative on the occasion of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's 75th birth anniversary. Accordingly a test will be conducted on general knowledge.

The Congress workers have got an order to aim at getting at least 4,000 students from Class 8 to Class 12  to attempt the test.

Sixty students who answer all the questions will not only get a laptop but also a tablet, bicycle and a watch as prize. The Congress will also honour them with an award.

The Congress workers have already invited applications from schools for the test. The test will revolve around 60 questions from the time of Rajiv Gandhi's tenure as prime minister.

The test will be conducted on September 1 at Bulandshahr district administration offices at 11 am. Students taking part in the test have been asked to get the identity card provided by the school. No student will be allowed to enter the test hall without the ID card.    

The event organiser Yogesh Talan said that the test will be held in once centre in each district of Uttar Pradesh. Each district will get 60 awards.
