Two loyal Congressmen – Sanjay Nirupam and Sanjay Jha – have put out tweets, questioning the working style of the Congress

Bengaluru: Congress is a divided house now. After the Sachin Pilot fiasco, more loyal Congressmen are exposing the ills within.
Today (July 16), another loyalist Sanjay Nirupam put out his woes.

On this twitter handle, he said, “As per this report, Mumbai Congress leaders have demanded action against me. Because, I wanted a probe into Shivsena leaders’ land scam, who happens to be CM of the state. Is speaking against Shivsena an anti-party activity?
Is Mumbai Congress merged into Shivsena?”

As per this report, Mumbai Congress leaders have demanded action against me.
Because,I wanted a probe into Shivsena leaders’ land scam, who happens to be CM of the state.
Is speaking against Shivsena an anti party activity?

It comes after another Sanjay, a spokesperson put out a tweet thus:

He said on twitter: “I saw your notice suspending my Congress membership on a TV channel for ' anti-party activities'. No show-cause notice and opportunity to reply was given. Internal democracy? Kindly list specific instances where I have indulged in sabotage.”

It was addressed to Balasaheb Thorat, the Maharashtra Congress chief.

Dear Mr Balasaheb Thorat

I saw your notice suspending my Congress membership on a TV channel for ' anti-party activities'. No show-cause notice and opportunity to reply was given. Internal democracy?

Kindly list specific instances where I have indulged in sabotage.

Meanwhile, Sachin Pilot, the rebel Congress leader, has approached the Rajasthan high court, over the disqualification notice issued to him by the assembly Speaker.

The court has allowed him to amend his plea.

Sachin Pilot was sacked as the deputy CM of Rajasthan and PCC chief. The rebel Congress MLA from Tonk had put out a tweet, saying “Truth can never be defeated.”

The decision to sack him was taken by the Congress after he openly rebelled against CM Ashok Gehlot. The Congress tried to pacify him but all their efforts went futile. In fact, reports added that several Congress members dialled him frantically 29 times in a span of just 2 days.

Sources say that Pilot met Gandhis and poured out his woes, even asking for the CM’s post. But the Gandhis, as per sources, did not countenance his request and asked him to wait further. But a hurt and humiliated Pilot was in no mood to accept their proposal.

Well, it all began when the Special Operations Group sent a notice to the deputy CM to appear for investigations in a case related to destabilising his own Congress government during the Rajya Sabha elections in June.
