However, the clip of ARY news that has gone viral on social media shows the anchor of the channel saying that Prime Minister Modi in his speech is remembering wing commander Abhinandan who was caught and released by Pakistani forces.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was among the global leaders who congratulated Modi for registering mammoth victory during Lok Sabha elections. Even Pakistani media reported about Indian election extensively. Still, some channels continue to mess up their coverage and gave a moment of laughter. The less than a minute-long clip has left the Twitterati into splits.

Here’s is how people are reacting to the video.

Dear Braindead Pakistan Media,

'Abhinandan' doesn't necessarily mean Wing Commander Abhinandan, it's a Hindi word that means "Congratulations". 🤣😂🤣 pic.twitter.com/qVxUgGuc6M

Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by Pakistan on February 27 after his MiG 21 Bison crashed inside Pakistan when he shot down enemies F-16 fighter jet and later released on March 1. After his return to India via Wagah-Attari border Varthaman was sent on a four-week leave during which his medical tests were conducted. Now he has resumed his duties and has been posted outside J&K for his security.
