Twitterati expose Malala’s double standards over her needless interference in Kashmir issue

While Pakistan lies in a state of mess, Malala, the Nobel prize winner for peace poked her nose unnecessarily into the issue of abrogation and urged UN to work for the people there. But people have exposed her double standards and asked her to look at what’s happening in Pakistan.

Bengaluru: Justice is justice for all. There are no ifs and buts. But in reality, some people are more equal than others. Take for example, the issue of abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. it’s been over a month now. Yet the issue seems far from over.

Nobel prize winner and education rights activist Malala Yousafzai’s exhortation to the United Nations (UN) has stunned many. In a tweet, she has pleaded with the UN to work for peace in view of the alleged unrest in the region of Kashmir.

I am asking leaders, at and beyond, to work towards peace in Kashmir, listen to Kashmiri voices and help children go safely back to school.

And then, she was exposed! Twitterati questioned her over her silence over subjugations being faced by minorities in Pakistan and even anti-human activities in Balochistan.

The Centre, working through the governor of Jammu and Kashmir, has been consistently monitoring the situation. Slowly but surely, the communication links are being restored to normalcy. Schools have also opened, but attendance has been thin.

In fact, BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje also did not mince words in criticising Malala for her one-way traffic.

Sincere request to the Nobel winner, to spend some time speaking with the minorities of Pakistan.

To speak against the forceful conversation & persecution taking place on the minority girls in her own country!

Developmental agendas got extended to Kashmir, nothing suppressed! https://t.co/Um3BmGuJwi

But it is nothing short of hypocrisy that Malala chooses to concentrate on Kashmir while her own home of Pakistan epitomises everything that’s bad and nefarious.

It was on August 5 that Union home minister Amit Shah declared that with the help of a presidential order, the validity of the two articles in question would be crushed, thereby paving way for complete integration of J&K with India.

Pakistan, on the other hand, went to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) over the issue, but the member nations did not support it.
In fact, when PM Modi met President Donald Trump during the G7 meet in France, Modi reiterated that the abrogation was an internal issue and India would deal with such issues on its own.

But what vested interest does Malala have?
