Bhopal Express, also known as Shaan-e-Bhopal Express (Habibganj-Hazrat Nizamuddin) collided with a derailed coach of a goods train in Gwalior's Birla Nagar railway station on Friday, injuring several passengers
Gwalior: Bhopal Express, also known as Shaan-e-Bhopal Express (Habibganj-Hazrat Nizamuddin) on Friday collided with a derailed coach of a goods train in Birla Nagar railway station in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
The mishap took place at around 3.15 AM, following which the rail track connecting Delhi to South India has been completely closed.
The authorities were immediately informed and senior railway officials were rushed to the spot. A relief train was also sent to the spot at 7 am to clear the track.

The injured passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital, Lucky, there hasn’t been any report of casualties yet.
Meanwhile, a canteen at another Gwalior railway station caught fire on Friday. Firefighters have doused the flames. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
