This is the third Tejas Express train by the IRCTC. The first two run successfully between Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Delhi-Lucknow.

As quoted by a popular website, the train will begin its commercial run from February 20. The Kashi Mahakal Express will operate three days in a week — it will be a bi-weekly service through the

Sultanpur-Lucknow route and a weekly service via the Prayagraj route.

As regards the fares, a one-time journey from Kashi to Indore would cost Rs 1951.

Another website said that extensive facilities are in place as the route has been designed keeping in mind the religious sentiments of devotees.
