Bhoomi Pujan date for the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya is likely to be announced today (July 18) when the trust meets
Lucknow: Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust’s crucial meeting will be held in Ayodhya today (July 18) and the date for Bhoomi Pujan (foundation stone laying ceremony) is likely to be announced.
Also, there will be a discussion among the trustees to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the foundation stone laying ceremony.
The preparations for the meeting have been completed and most of the trustees have reached Ayodhya. Senior RSS leader Dr. Krishna Gopal has also reached Ayodhya and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is also expected.
According to media reports, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Ram temple construction work could be delayed. The trust may decide to start construction on August 5.
PM Modi could lay the foundation stone for the temple. A letter was sent by the president of the trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das to PM Modi.
After the trust meeting today, the official announcement will be made by Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the temple construction committee.
In this meeting, the trustees will finalise the date for Bhoomi Pujan, and then public announcements will be made through the trust.
Meanwhile, chairman of the temple construction committee Mishra also arrived in Ayodhya and he had a meeting with the District Magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha and other office bearers of the trust in the Circuit House on Friday evening (July 17).
