Bengaluru: Geetika Kohli, from Jammu is a personality trainer.

She is an MBA graduate and has worked in several institutions. But she wanted to do something very different. That is the reason she took up personality development.

Dainik Bhasker adds that, in all, she has trained more than ten thousand students.

After graduating from a Jammu University, she got a job in a Chennai company. Apart from her academics, she also has a lot of flair for writing poems.

In 2016, she got an offer from a Delhi-based company. So she shifted to Delhi and joined the company there. but in a span of just six months, she decided to quit as she grew bored of it.

In the year 2017, she decided to return to Jammu.

It is at this time that she decided to start a personality development course. During her career as an HR, she became well-versed with personality. Using this knowledge, she started a career in a small house.

Her focus was on students who hail from rural backgrounds and lack requisite skills. She named her company Thinksta and trained students to get employment.

Her areas of training include youth development, career development, internship and content writing.

Though she offers these highly specialised areas of training, she doesn’t charge much. She also has a tie-up with many institutions where she teaches kids and imparts knowledge.

She is now proud that her students are placed in good companies.

She says, “This work of mine will continue. For me, this work is like a mission. Personality development is very important in today's era. It should be treated equally like the rest of the subjects for the career, it should focus on it. If you want to empower youth, it is very important to trend them professionally”.

It is in this way that she has remained a unique personality, chasing her dreams.
