On the completion of a 100 days of his government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said it was just the trailer while the move is about to b released in a reference to his government’s crackdown on corruption

Ranchi: In a combative mood, Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned those who indulge in corruption saying none would be spared.

In Ranchi to launch a pension scheme for farmers, Modi further said that he will not spare anyone who indulge in looting the public.

He said, "A massive crackdown on corruption has begun. Those who will loot the public will be shown their rightful place."

On 100 days of Modi 2,0, the Prime Minister said the best is yet to come. "Picture abhi baaki hai".

The reference can easily be drawn up to two prominent Congressmen who have been arrested for alleged kickbacks and money laundering. P Chidambaram, the former Union finance minister and DK Shivakumar, the Karnataka Congress MLA are the ones in question.

Back to the issue of pension scheme, under the 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana', farmers between 18 and 40 years of age will get Rs 3,000 monthly pension after reaching 60.

The scheme has an outlay of Rs 10,774 crore for the next three years.

All small and marginal farmers who are currently between 18 to 40 years can apply for the scheme. Jharkhand will go to Assembly polls later this year.

On Wednesday (September 11) Modi was in Uttar Pradesh where he launched a scheme for the welfare of animals which the Centre would sponsor on a 100% basis.

There too, he was in a belligerent mood, jibing the opposition for its unease over the usage of the words “cow ands om”. The PM had said that members of the opposition would feel that the country is regressing to the 16th century if anyone talked about cow.

The opposition reacted saying that the PM was steering the topic away from cow lynching issues and he should ensure what the Constitution has promised.
