PM Modi takes to Twitter to extend greetings on Milad-un-Nabi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and said that let Milad-un-Nabi increases the spirit of harmony and compassion in society. He also wished peace to all.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (November 10) extended his greetings on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, which marks the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote, "Greetings on Milad-Un-Nabi. Inspired by the thoughts of Prophet Muhammad, may this day further the spirit of harmony and compassion in society. May there be peace all around."

On Saturday (November 9), President Ram Nath Kovind also greeted the nation on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi.

"On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, I extend my good wishes to all fellow citizens, especially to my Muslim brothers and sisters," an official statement quoted President Kovind, as stating.

"Let us learn and get inspired from the life of Prophet Muhammad and work for the well being of all by spreading his message of universal brotherhood and compassion," he added.
