PM Modi all set to interact with party workers in Varanasi today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday (October 22) took to Twitter and announced that he would interact with the party workers in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi today. His interaction with the BJP workers comes ahead of state chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s participation during Deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Varanasi, his Parliamentary constituency, on October 24 where he will interact with BJP party workers.

Taking to Twitter, PM Modi said, "On October 24, I will interact with party workers in Varanasi, which is my parliamentary constituency. I have invited all the workers to be a part of it. If you have any suggestions or questions, you can share them on the NaMo app."

PM Modi's visit comes ahead of the Deepotsav (a festival of lamps) celebrations in Ayodhya on October 26.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh govt had said that the state chief minister Yogi Adityanath will grace the Deepotsav celebrations on October 26 in Ayodhya, where more than 5.50 lakh earthen lamps will be lit a day ahead of Diwali.

Along with the state chief minister, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Union minister Pralhad Joshi among others will attend the "Deepotsav" event.

According to the state government, a list of foreign dignitaries will be announced in a couple of days.

PM Modi has been representing the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat since 2014. He retained the high-profile constituency by comfortably defeating his opponents in this year's general elections.
