Here’s a list of Pakistan diplomats who have been a disgrace on foreign soil for their nefarious activities.
Bengaluru: Diplomats living in other countries should be an asset to the countries they represent.
These diplomats ensure a smooth relation between the two countries.
But when it comes to diplomats of Pakistan, the lesser said the better!
It is reported that these Pakistani diplomats are involved in heinous abroad.
Here is the list:
1. Waqar Ahmad, a Pakistan Foreign Service Officer posted as first secretary in Kiev, Ukraine was removed from service on May 7 following charges of sexual harassment by a local Ukrainian employee. Southeast Asia Post added that he was charged with gross misconduct, "conduct unbecoming of an officer and gentleman and conduct prejudicial to good order and service discipline" according to a notification issued by Pakistan's Foreign Office.
2. Munir Akram, the current Pakistan Permanent Representative at the UN was accused of domestic violence in 2002 by his live-in partner.
3. Here’s another: Mohamed Mazhar Khan, an assistant visa officer at Pakistan high commission, Bangladesh, was arrested in January 2015. Why? He was alleged to have played a role in pushing FICN through the Assam and West Bengal border.
4. Farina Arshad, second secretary at the Pakistan high commission in Bangladesh was withdrawn in late 2015 after Idris Sheikh, an operative of the militant organization Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JMB), admitted to having links with her.
