Pakistan continues to push hatred, terrorism in India, but fails to realise it gains zilch

Pakistan continues to spread hate against India and push terror on India’s soil. But it fails to realise that relinquishing terrorism will help it in the long run.

Bengaluru: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is worried more about India than his own country. And that is no surprise, because he gets jealous over India’s achievements while his country strives hard to somehow spoil and scuttle India in its endeavour in every possible manner.

An interesting analysis carried out by Indian intelligence and security agencies shows that 90 percent of his tweets are fake and contain a marked characteristic – that of pushing hatred against India.

These fake tweets have gathered more momentum since the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.

"This rewinding narrative on Kashmir is turning out to be a monotonous rambling by a head of a government, similar to flogging a dead horse," said an intelligence officer.

Another intelligence officer pointed out that rulers of Pakistan have not come to terms with its own identity. All they do is get envious about India and its nation-building activities.

He pointed out thus: "The military, which ruled Pakistan for the most part of its existence, directly or indirectly, has nursed a deep-seated uneasiness against the relative success of India in nation-building, even as its own efforts at fostering a federation have faltered due to the indigenous political movements in Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa."

The Balochistan issue has also put Pakistan in a tight spot.

Another officer said that in the largest province of Balochistan, the decade-old restive movement for autonomy has turned into a full-blown insurgency, bracing against brutal state repression, forced disappearances of activists and a media lockdown, as reported by South Asia Monitor website.

Another important point to note is about Waziristan. There is a movement called
Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), a nascent resistance by the Pashtun community demanding 'respect' and cessation of military restrictions. It has steadily snowballed into a loud demand for autonomy in a region that straddles the disputed Durand Line between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Here, as pointed out by the website, on May 1, 2020, Arif Wazir, an outspoken leader of PTM, was killed by the forces linked to Pakistan's military intelligence agency ISI, defying the restraint which Muslims across the world observe in the holy month of Ramzan.

However, such contradictions are not new in Pakistan’s unrestrained liaison with terrorism, narcotics, arms smuggling and meddling in domestic and regional politics.

A note on coronavirus pandemic:

Coronavirus pandemic has played truant across the globe. Thousands have died while thousands more continue to suffer.

The case is no different in Pakistan. But instead of working round the clock to improve the lives of citizens, Pakistan continues to spread terror on India soil.

The condemned nation forgets that its interests lie in relinquishing terrorism and also fails to realise that the bogey of religious extremism in India, a country which houses more Muslims than Pakistan will not make sense.
