Bikaner, August 2024: The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, with the aim of developing healthcare infrastructure, inaugurated the newly built Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Moolwas village of Nokha block of Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Sunday, 28th July. The handover ceremony marks the government’s agenda of building on the foundation laid by the combined efforts of Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia.
The healthcare center honors the legacy of Sant Shri Dularam Kularia, a beloved figure who contributed to the welfare of society. Sant Shri Dularam Kularia is the father of Mr. Narsi Kularia, Managing Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, and grandfather of Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd. Thus, the PHC celebrates Sant Shri Dularam Kularia’s social impact as well as represents Mr. Narsi Kularia’s and Mr. Jagdish Kularia’s dedication to continuing their father and grandfather’s work, respectively.
Mr. Narsi Kularia is renowned for his social work, in addition to being a successful industrialist. He has long been an advocate of enhancing healthcare infrastructure. He launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project in 2020 that aimed at improving healthcare services in Seelwa. Additionally, the founding bricks of this healthcare center were laid to uplift local health standards and promote the health of countless individuals. Thus, Mr. Narsi Kularia’s efforts played the most significant role in empowering the lives of the residents.
At the inauguration of the PHC, Mr. Narsi Kularia proudly highlighted how the healthcare center will improve access to medical services for a wide population. He declared that the PHC will be able to provide benefits and services to thousands of villagers from more than a dozen villages, including Charkra, Seelwa, Dawa, Tant, Kedli, and Badhda.
The PHC brings a range of benefits to both the community and the environment, significantly advancing healthcare access while prioritizing sustainability. Built at the remarkable cost of Rs 15 crores, the healthcare center covers 12,100 square yards. It offers high-tech medical facilities, including an operation theatre, X-ray and CBC capabilities, a 24-hour pharmacy, and an OPD for first aid. Additionally, it features 8 beds for men and 14 beds for women, which ensures complete medical care for the community.
When it comes to environmental responsibility, the PHC includes a 50,000-liter rainwater harvesting tank, ensuring a reliable water source and supporting eco-friendly operations. Therefore, Mr. Narsi Kularia’s initiative has not only empowered residents with advanced medical facilities but also set a new standard in sustainability.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by many distinguished personalities, including the Chief Minister of Rajasthan-Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Law Minister-Arjun Meghwal, Union Tourism and Culture Minister-Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Health Minister-Gajendra Singh Khimsar, and Food Supply Minister-Sumit Godara. Additionally, all these eminent figures praised the various contributions made by Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia to positively transform society.
Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who had arrived as a special guest to celebrate the occasion, conveyed his admiration for Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia in his native language, Marwari. He also emphasized the various contributions of Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, which led to nation-building. He stated, “I thank Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia for investing their money in the right place and repaying the debt of the motherland. In addition to the healthcare center, Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia have also designed the interior of the New Parliament Building and Bharat Mandapam. Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia invest their earnings in social welfare without any hesitation."
Additionally, the Chief Minister praised the heroic dedication of Mr. Narsi Kularia by stating, "Service is considered the ultimate religion here. We imbibe the principle of 'Nar Seva Hi Narayan Seva'. We work with the feeling that if you serve a man, it will be equal to serving the Hindu god Narayan. The government will also give full support in such pious works." In addition, the Chief Minister has affirmed to upgrade this Primary Healthcare Center into a Community Healthcare Center. Therefore, the main objective for the government is to integrate the PHC into a broader framework of healthcare.
