Meet these 4 amazing voters who fought all odds to cast their ballots this election season

Here are the four citizens 

1. Family from Satna

A family from Madhya Pradesh’s Satna decided to first cast their votes and then perform the last rituals of an elderly family member who passed away on Monday.

The bereaved family chose to first cast their votes at polling booth number 181 in Tikuria Tola. The deceased, Savitri Gupta was the mother of Ashok Gupta — ex-councillor of ward number 44.


 
2. Voting after cremation 

Shivendra Pratap Singh’s story is also extremely heart-wrenching. He had to cremate his deceased father on Monday. Keeping his grief aside, he directly went to the polling booth after performing his last rituals to cast his votes. The incident happened in Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh.

3. 105-year-old voter

A man was seen arriving with his 105-year-old mother on his shoulder to cast votes at polling booth number 450 in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.


 
4. Elderly man casts vote

An elderly man came to cast his vote in a polling booth in Chhapra, Saran in Bihar. He was assisted by several others and was sitting on a wheelchair. But the difficulties could not deter him from exercising his voting rights.
