Uttar Pradesh minister Giriraj Singh Dharmesh accused Mayawati of betraying everyone and said that she was like ‘naked live wire’ that 'kills' those who touch her

Agra: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati is like "a naked live wire and whoever  touches her will die", said Uttar Pradesh minister Giriraj Singh Dharmesh.

BJP leader late Brahma Dutt Dwiwedi had saved Mayawati during the infamous state guest house incident and it was the BJP that had helped her become chief minister three times, Dharmesh said on Wednesday (August 28).

Dharmesh, minister of state for social welfare and SC/ST welfare in Uttar Pradesh, represents the Agra cantonment seat in the Assembly.

He slammed Mayawati and said she is not trustworthy and has betrayed everyone.

"She used the Samajwadi Party, increased her party's strength during Lok Sabha to 10 and then ditched that party," he was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

He also levelled charges against Mayawati indirectly and said that the BSP founding leader Kanshi Ram did not die naturally. He said that Ram died under suspicious circumstances.

“Kanshi Ram did not die naturally, he died under suspicious circumstances. He was being treated under Mayawati’s watch. Kanshi Ram’s sister is saying Mayawati murdered him. I’ll appeal to the chief minister to get it investigated by the CBI,” Dharmesh was quoted as saying by ANI.

Mayawati was unanimously re-elected as BSP chief at a party meeting in Lucknow on Wednesday (August 28).
