Maharashtra Government’s Ladla Bhai Yojana to Empower Youth with Monthly Stipend of Rs 6000

Maharashtra government has introduced a new scheme called 'Ladla Bhai Yojana'. Under this initiative, youth in the state will receive financial assistance ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000.

After the success of the Ladli Behen Yojana benefiting women, Maharashtra government has introduced a new scheme called 'Ladla Bhai Yojana'. Under this initiative, youth in the state will receive financial assistance ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000. Students who have completed class 12 will receive Rs 6,000 per month under this scheme.

What makes the 'Ladla Bhai' scheme special is its provision to support youth based on their educational achievements. Under this initiative by the Maharashtra government, students who have completed class 12 will receive Rs 6,000 per month along with skill training and apprenticeships.

Students pursuing diploma courses will receive Rs 8,000 monthly, and graduates will receive Rs 10,000 monthly. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated that this scheme aims to address unemployment issues in the state. 

What is the Ladli Behna Yojana?

Ladli Behna Yojana was first launched by the Maharashtra government to provide financial assistance to women in the state. Under this scheme, women receive Rs 1250 monthly. Moreover, financial assistance of Rs 1,20,000 to construct permanent homes is also provided. 

The scheme aims to support women who rely on the head of the family for even minor expenses. Funds are transferred directly to their accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer, eliminating the need for them to visit any offices.
