Maharashtra felt four strong tremors from 1.03 am to 1.15 am. The tremors killed a 55-year-old man in Palghar
Palghar: Dahanu in the Talasari belt of Palghar district shook at 1.03 am, today (July 25), killing one person. This was followed with three more tremors.
The first tremor was of 3.8 magnitude and it was felt at 1.03 am; this was followed by tremors of 3.6, 2.9 and 2.8 magnitude till 1.15 am. The other three tremors were of lesser magnitude.
In a span of 12 minutes Dahanu in Palghar and Boisar felt the tremors.
As a result of tremors a wall of a house collapsed killing a 55-year-old man in Dahanu, Palghar, according to ANI.
Almost all regions of Maharashtra are facing heavy rains. So, even when there were tremors, people could not come out of their houses.
