While Kerala Police along with Army personnel Akhil visited the spot where his lover had been murdered and buried, Amboori natives (Thiruvananthapuram) threw stones and raised slogans against the accused
Thiruvananthapuram: Violence erupted at Amboori, Thiruvananthapuram while police took Army personnel Akhil, the first accused in the Rakhi murder case to the spot where the victim was killed and buried. On Monday Amboori natives pelted stones and raised slogans forcing Kerala Police to return without completing evidence collection.
Contradictory statements of Akhil and his father Maniyan, and allegations by locals that Akhil's parents were involved in the crime has led police to believe that there is more to the case. Police are yet to recover the plastic rope which Akhil used to kill Rakhi as well as the clothes, phone and bag of the victim.
