India is now developing rapidly, this is not just a statement but can also be seen now. Kerala school brings development in educational sector by introducing AI teacher named Iris

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, school has welcomed Iris, an AI teacher. The robot is "set to reshape its educational landscape" and was developed by Maker Labs using generative AI.

This concept initially appeared in the Kaduvayil Thangal Charitable Trust Higher Secondary School. Iris is a part of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiative, which is part of the NITI Aayog 2021 program aimed at increasing extracurricular activities in schools.

Iris is intended by Makerlabs to be an advanced voice assistant for use in educational settings, not just a robot. Iris offers quickness and smooth operation due to its robotics and generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.

Iris provides a customized learning experience for every learner by speaking three languages and answering challenging questions. It is a priceless tool in the classroom because of its qualities, which include mobility, voice assistance, interactive learning modules, and manipulation capabilities.

A video highlighting Iris's potential to revolutionize education was posted on Instagram by MakerLabs. Part of the caption for the video posted on Instagram says, "Breaking boundaries in education: Introducing IRIS, India's first AI teacher robot based on generative AI."

The robot is shown being launched on stage at Kerala's KTCT Higher Secondary School in the video. Additionally, it outlines the robot interacting with kids within a classroom.
Dr. K. Rajeev, the director of the VSSC Space Physics Laboratory (SPL), officially opened Iris. According to a text inset in the movie, students at Kerala's KTCT Higher Secondary School now consider the AI instructor to be one of their "closest friends."

Iris undoubtedly offers a peek into the educational future in which artificial intelligence (AI) will assist teachers in the classroom, even though the long-term effects are still unknown.
