The Bombay high court has stopped demolition of Kangana’s building.

Bengaluru: In a massive exhibition of vindictiveness, the Shiv Sena Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished Kangana Ranaut’s office building in Mumbai.

A team of the BMC H-West Ward officers accompanied by a police posse reached the office with bulldozers, JCBs and other heavy equipment and took up the demolition work from the outside, a popular website added.

Reacting to the issue, Kangana Ranaut put out a tweet terming it “Babur and his army”.

She also went on to say this about the allegations: “There is no illegal construction in my house, also government has banned any demolitions in Covid till September 30, Bullywood watch now this is what Fascism looks like.”

A note on violations:

As published by a popular website, the allegations of violations are: Merging of two bungalows, converting a ground-floor toilet into an office cabin, converting a storeroom into a kitchen, making an unauthorised pantry in the ground floor, adding toilets near the storeroom and a parking area, illegal partitions in first floor living room, an illegal meeting room in the "puja" room, converting a balcony into a habitable area besides a floor extension, etc.

Presently, the Bombay high court is hearing the case on the demolition.

This vindictive nature of the BMC is a reaction Kangana calling Mumbai Pakistan Occupied Kashmir after the Mumbai police allegedly liked a tweet which exhorted her public shaming.

Not just that, Anil Deshmukh, even asked her not to visit Mumbai in the light of these sayings. Shiva Sena member Sanjay Raut also termed her “haramkhor”.

As the calls for her not visiting Mumbai hit the roof, Kangana went on to say further that Mumbai has become Taliban.

When reports last came in, the Bombay high court has stopped the demolition of Kangana’s building.

Indian Express noted, “The Bombay High Court asked the BMC to stop the demolition at Kangana Ranaut’s office and asked the civic body to respond to her petition.”
