MP CM Kamal Nath has dared Jyotiraditya Scindia to hit the streets as he had earlier threatened to do so if MP CM did not implement farm loan waiver.

Bengaluru: The argy-bargies between Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath and snubbed Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia never end!

2 days ago, Jyotiraditya Scindia had openly declared that he would be hitting the streets along with his supporters if the farm loan waiver was not implemented by MP government.

Obviously pushed to the corner over the remark, Kamal Nath has hit back daring Scindia to walk his talk.

He said, "to utar jayein sadkon par (do hit the streets if you wish)".

He then added on the issue of the loan waiver being promised in the election manifesto.

"Manifesto is for five years, right? It is not for five months".

The two have been fighting out in the open. Scindia believes that he has been sidelined by the party high command and is doing every bit to unsettle the MP government.

So for Kamal Nath, the fight is not outside, but within, as he struggles to please and placate the younger leader.

And as for his part, Scindia has not minced any words in expressing his displeasure.

A few days ago, this is what he had said:

"It is impossible that Congress makes a promise and does not fulfil it. If the Congress has promised something, it is very important to fulfil it. Nahi to sadak par utarna padega (otherwise we'll have to take to the streets)."

It must also be recalled that Scindia was hopeful of being made the CM of Madhya Pradesh. But as his desires didn’t see the light of day, he seems to have been disgruntled.

Well, Scindia has not minced words in criticising the CM several times.

Scindia also hit out at the CM for not regularising guest teachers.

"I want to assure you that your demand is included in our government's manifesto and it is our sacred text. It has been a year for the government, teachers have to be a little patient. Our turn will come and if not then I assure you that I will be your shield and sword," Scindia said.

"If all promises in the manifesto are not fulfilled, do not think you are alone. Scindia will also hit the streets with you," Jyotiraditya Scindia had said further.
