Jammu and Kashmir: Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist arrested in Sopore

Sopore (Jammu and Kashmir): One person allegedly belonging to terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba on Saturday was arrested in Sopore in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir.

The terrorist was nabbed in a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir. Further details are awaited.

The cordon search operation was  conducted by the Kashmir Police with joint team of 22 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army. The alleged terrorist is identified as Danish Channa, affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Earlier, terrorists had set a school on fire at Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. In fact, examination of the school children was scheduled on Saturday. The school is situated at Kundalam in Shopian.

 Details on the LeT terrorist arrested is awaited.
