Indian Embassy in Israel has issued an advisory instructing its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to Israel amid the Iran-Israel war. Two emergency helpline numbers and a form have also been released for Indian nationals in Israel to ensure safety.

The Indian embassy in Israel has released a helpline number for Indians living in the country amid Iran's drones and missile launch. The embassy has directed its people to stay calm and follow the protocols by the local authorities.

The issued advisory states that the Indian officials were closely monitoring the situation and are in contact with the Israeli officers to ensure the safety of Indian nationals.

"In light of recent events in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to stay calm and adhere to the safety protocols issued by the local authorities,” states the advisory.

The embassy has also released two 24*7 helpline numbers (+972-547520711 and +972-543278392) along with a link to a form which all Indian nationals are required to fill out to register with the embassy.

The registration form requires information such as passport number, name, e-mail ID, profession, mobile number, place of residence in Israel, and other details. The embassy has also issued a notice on April 12, instructing its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to Israel.

Iran launched several drones and missiles at Israel on April 13. According to Tehran, the attack was done as a 'punishment' for the 'Israeli crimes'.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, posted on X, saying, "The State of Israel is strong, the IDF is strong, the people of Israel are strong. Together we will stand, and with God's help - together we will overcome all our enemies."
