New Delhi: In view of the International Women's Day which is on March 8, Indian domestic airline Vistara has announced a new scheme for women passengers on Wednesday. The company has taken this decision in favor of women, according to which, the airline will provide sanitary napkins to the women passengers on their request.
According to information, the airline will arrange for ISO 9001: 2015 Certified Bio Degradable and Organic Sanitary Napkins keeping in mind the health of women. The company said in its release that this sanitary napkin will be plastic free and only with a fraction of toxin and perfume. The airline announced it's initiative on Twitter with the hashtag #PadsOnBoard.
Keeping in view the security and health care of women passengers, this is a positive initiative taken by the airline. This is another step taken by the company in the #VistaraWomanFlyer service link of 2017. The purpose of this decision, introduced in 2017, was to provide physical and mental health benefits to women travelling alone.

Commenting on the airline's corporate affairs, Senior Vice President Deepa Chadha said that this initiative to provide sanitary pads inside the flight shows that small things can also make a big difference. She said that being a woman, she is extremely happy and proud to be a part of it.
