Bengaluru: In true spirit of the game, Chennai Super Kings donated donate 450 oxygen concentrators to Tamil Nadu government in fight against Covid-19. 

India Today noted that CSK director R Srinivasan handed over the oxygen concentrators to the state's Chief Minister MK Stalin. With him were present president of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association Rupa Gurunath also present.

A tweet put by the franchise, said, “Putting our best foot forward for Namma Tamizhagam! Pushing our wellness in hands with Hon. CM Mr. M.K. Stalin, as Mr. R. Srinivasan, Director, CSKCL, hands over an Oxygen Concentrator in the presence of Mrs. Rupa Gurunath, President, TNCA”.

“The people of Chennai and Tamil Nadu form the very heartbeat of the Super Kings and we want them to know that we are all together in this fight against the pandemic,” CSK CEO Mr KS Viswanathan said. 

India is fighting Covid as one: 

The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has had its terrible effects on India. Many are deprived of Oxygen, hospital beds and good treatment. 

To mitigate the problem, several people are doing their best. Social media has turned into a platform to help, with several users highlighting the amplifying the requests their receive. 

In the same way, the Indian Air Force, the Indian Railways have created special ventures to ensure that oxygen is supplied to all parts of the country. 

Vaccine makers are working overtime to produce as many doses as they can and help people get immunity. 

To produce such vaccinations is a phenomenal task. And to distribute it to all parts of the country is another.

DRDO pitches in to build hospitals: 

The DRDO built hospitals having the capacity to house several beds in Lucknow. 

It has also used oxygen producing ability that is used in LCA called the OnBoard Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS).
