Anti-Hindu lobby, which works overtime to ensure any Hindu endeavour doesn’t see the light of day, has tasted bitter success as the Allahabad high court has dismissed a petition seeking stay on the bhumi puja to be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5

Bengaluru: Anti-Hindu lobby, which works overtime to ensure any Hindu endeavour doesn’t see the light of day, has tasted bitter success as the Allahabad high court has dismissed a petition seeking stay on the bhumi puja to be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5.

It was a Congress supporter Saket Gokhale who had filed a petition, but the court dismissed it saying, it was based on assumption.

The petition was heard by the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Justice Govind Mathura and Justice Saumitra Dayal Singh on Friday.
It observed thus: “In the view of whatever stated above, we do not find any just reason to interfere in the matter. The writ petition is dismissed.”

Well, there have been consistent efforts by the anti-Hindu lobby to somehow stymie and scuttle the process.

When the Supreme Court decreed in favour of Hindus last year, it brought to an end, a dispute that is almost five centuries old. Just like others have their holy places, Hindus too have Ayodhya as their holy place. Why should anyone play spoilsport when millions of Hindus are waiting with bated breath to see a grand temple at Ayodhya?

Apart from PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, LK Advani, Yogi Adityanath and Uddhav Thackeray will also be in attendance.

News reports add that not more than 200 guests have been invited, with special emphasis on social distancing.

In fact, All India Majalis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MP Imtiaz Jaleel took a jibe at Modi for the visit.

He said, "We know because of the Supreme Court order, you're going to build the Ram Mandir and we have no objections to that. But, the fact is, doesn't the Prime Minister of this country know what the priorities should be? Does that mean coronavirus has entered into an agreement with PM Modi that it won't reach Ayodhya? If even the prime minister doesn't know his priorities, then how can you impose rules on other people. This is very ridiculous.”
