BJP Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy has suggested that CRPF personnel be posted in all courts, thereby mitigating the friction between lawyers and cops.
Bengaluru: Subramanian Swamy, the BJP Rajya Sabha MP has offered a solution for the ongoing lawyers-police fight in New Delhi. In his tweet, he said, “Since half the problem in courts is the lawyer police daily interaction and familiarity, since both are local, I think that an all India police like CRPF should be created and posted in all courts.”

All hell broke loose when a cop and lawyer traded blows over a parking issue on November 2.
Also Watch: Fight between cops and lawyers is foreboding and ominous!
As the two started having a fight, other members of their professions joined and the matter only escalated for the worse.
The Delhi High Court took cognisance of the issue and has formed a probe panel to investigate the entire issue.
The Delhi High Court has also postponed bar council elections indefinitely.
Meanwhile, Manan Mishra, the chairman of the bar council appealed to the lawyers to report to duty and assured that action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
As the day progressed, Delhi police commissioner Amulya Patnaik addressed the agitating police and requested them to withdraw the protests, promising action. But the cops were in no mood to relent and sought an efficient and daring cop like Kiran Bedi in his place.
The day also saw the lieutenant governor take cognisance of the issue. As he held a meeting with the protesting cops, he underlined the importance of working in a spirit of harmony, as the two – lawyers and police – form two great pillars of functioning.
Interestingly, while the lawyers and cops continue to fight, AAP has decided to play politics. Instead of soothing fraying tempers, the party has called the police “an armed wing of the BJP” thereby stoking the fire all the more.
Several cases have been filed by the police in relation to melee and the protests.
