The scorching summer heat is only expected to get worse in Andhra Pradesh. Citizens have been requested to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary
Amaravati: The sizzling summer temperatures are rising with every passing day in Andhra Pradesh and there won’t be any respite in coming days.
The Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) has issued an alert warning that the heat wave condition will exist in many places until May 11.
RTGS officials have suggested that people stay indoors during the day and not venture out. Citizens have also been asked to consume fresh fruits and plenty of water.
RTGS also suggested taking hydrating salts that prevent one from dehydration.
The highest temperature recorded across the state was 44.12 degree Celsius at Sathyavedu in Chittoor district.
The cyclonic storm ‘Fani’ had depleted moisture in the atmosphere from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, further intensifying the heat severity.
