A lab intern in China accidentally got infected by coronavirus. Later she infected her boyfriend. Eventually, it spread so badly that 184 countries are suffering from it.

Bengaluru: While the world grapples to contain the spread of coronavirus, there are many who are wondering what could the genesis of the virus be.

An investigative report published by US media claims that the virus was transmitted from a bat to a human.

This human being was none other than a girl working in a lab - the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

It has been further claimed that the virus is not a bioweapon and has accidentally spread to this girl. She in turn, infected her boyfriend.

Reports add that the study was an attempt by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States.

Initially, China had claimed that it was the wet market located near the lab that was the cause for the virus to spread. However, it is now clear that the wet market never sold bats.

Incidentally, the lab is China's first biosafety level IV lab, but the US state department had warned in 2018 about a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory, the report claims.

We're looking at it, a lot of people are looking at it. It seems to make sense. They talk about a certain kind of bat, but that bat wasn't in that area if you can believe this. That bat wasn't sold at that wet zone... That bat is 40 miles away. A lot of strange things are happening, but there is a lot of investigation going on and we are going to find out. All I can say is wherever it came from, came from China in whatever form, 184 countries now are suffering because of it."

As regards India, the country has shut down in order to save its humongous population.
