Karnataka chief minister Kumaraswamy openly threatened people during his village stay in Raichuru. But this is certainly not the first time that the chief minister has made such statements

Bengaluru: On Wednesday (June 26) Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy was in Raichuru as part of the grama vastavya or village stay. There, he stumped those people who had come to seek his help, with his open intimidation and threat: “You vote for Modi and come to me with your problems. Should I get you lathicharged?”

Of course, his statements stumped everyone, but a closer look at his mannerisms over the years easily tells us that he is not just temperamental and idiosyncratic, but incorrigible as well. Here, we present an inventory on how he has let his tongue loose.

“Shoot them dead.”

(Occasion: JD(S) workers had been hacked to death in Mandya, the chief minister openly ordered the police to shoot them (killers) dead disdainfully. He was caught ordering so on his mobile phone.)

Case 4

“Don’t spoil the nation by chanting Modi, Modi”

(Occasion: As Kumaraswamy approached a crowd of youngsters, they began chanting the name of Modi. Irritated, he turned irate and gave them this piece of advice.)
