A fire broke out at a menthol warehouse in Greater Noida’s Kasna area, in the wee hours of Monday (August 26). No casualties have been reported so far, but 18 fire tenders have rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
Noida: A fire broke out at a menthol warehouse in Kasna area of Greater Noida in the wee hours of Monday (August 26). As many as 18 fire tenders were pressed into service.
No casualties or injuries have been reported, a fire officer said.
The fire continued to raze for over three hours. Fire personnel faced difficulty in dousing the flames due to the huge amount of menthol oil stored in the warehouse.
The fire was contained, but will take more than three hours to fully douse it off, he said.
