Drunk Teacher in Chhattisgarh Flees on Motorcycle as Students Chase Him with Chappals; WATCH Video

A user posted a video online of students throwing chappals and chasing away a drunk teacher. The incident occurred at a government school in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, after a teacher showed up drunk and started abusing the students. 

A shocking video has surfaced on the internet from Chattisgarh's Bastar of students throwing chappals (slippers) and chasing away a drunk teacher. The incident occurred in a government school in Bastar where students decided to speak out against the teacher when he showed up drunk and started abusing them.  

An X (formerly Twitter) user posted the video online with the caption, "In Bastar, kids took matters into their own hands when a teacher showed up drunk to school. Instead of teaching, he abused them. Fed up, the children chased him away by throwing shoes and slippers. The incident, caught on video, has sparked outrage on social media."

The whole situation was recorded and in the video, students can be seen running behind the teacher and throwing chappals at him while he flees away on a motorcycle. It is a shameful event and many users commented about the lack of sincerity shown by the teacher and praising the students for speaking up against it. 

Talking about the condition of education in Bastar, a user wrote, "Firstly, there are fewer teachers in the same situation #Bastar and secondly, this condition! Hopefully, the education department would have taken cognizance."

While some praise the bravery of the students many criticise them for not respecting their elders, one person commented, "Good job, but still he's a teacher elder in age and other side they are still the kids and students must have some respect."
