Dog attacks continue in Karnataka: 20 injured in Hubballi; 6 sheep killed in Kolar

A rabies-affected dog attacked more than 20 people in Karnataka’s Hubballi. They are being treated in hospitals in Hubballi. Another stray dog attack in Kolar has killed six sheep

Hubballi/Kolar: A rabies-affected dog has allegedly attacked people in Karnataka’s Hubballi that has left 20 people injured. The incident happened near the old bus stand. The injured have been admitted to KIMS and Chitaguppi hospitals. The dog has managed to flee the spot. In another incident in Kolar, stray dogs have reportedly attacked an animal shelter and have killed six sheep. The sheep belonged to Govindappa of Bangarpet who has incurred a loss of more than Rs  70,000. A case in this regard has been booked in the Bangarpet police station. Earlier, a five-year-old boy was killed in a dog attack and a girl was severely injured in Bengaluru on June 28.
