Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar released the BJP manifesto which promises a state based on Ram Rajya
Bengaluru: Days ahead of the all-important Haryana assembly polls, the BJP released its manifesto, which it has titled Sankalp Patra.
From promising collateral-free loan of up to Rs 3 lakh to people belonging to the SC community to interest-free crop loan of up to Rs 3 lakh to farmers, the manifesto promises great things.
"It is a commitment paper and it is a serious and studied document. A lot of effort has gone into its preparation. This is a pragmatic and practical paper," BJP national working president J P Nadda said while addressing the media in Chandigarh.
The manifesto has 15 chapters and 248 points. The BJP has called the manifesto its vision for the 'The Haryana of my dreams'.
The manifesto was released by Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattarj said, “ The Bharatiya Janata Party's Sankalpa Patra is based on the principles of 'Ram Rajya'. We have delivered on our promise of zero tolerance for corruption and transparency and will continue to do so.”
The other promises made are
Minimum support price to farmers purchase of every crop at minimum support price to the farmers. A budget of Rs 1000 crore for the Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran (farmers welfare body) has been promised.
For the skill enhancement of youth, the party has promised a Ministry of Youth Development and Self Employment in addition to which the government will also impart skills to 25 lakh youth by spending Rs 500 crore.
The party has been promised to remove the salary discrepancies of all the employees of the state. At the same time, BJP has promised to fulfill the target of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to provide pucca houses to all by 2022.
To the most important topic of women empowerment, the BJP has promised to provide free education to two girls from families whose annual family income is less than Rs 1.8 lakh.
