The Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has decided that ‘bhoomi pujan’ for the Ram temple will be held either on August 3 or August 5

Bengaluru: As the top court ruled in favour of Hindus in the Ayodhya impasse, the Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has been upbeat with preparations for the construction of the temple going on, on a war-footing.

Now, reports are out that the trust has proposed to perform ‘bhoomi pujan’ for the temple either on August 3 or August 5. Reports further add that this decision has been conveyed to the Prime Minister’s Office. This information was given by Kameshwar Chaupal, a member of the trust, reports note.

It is to be noted that eleven trustees and Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairman Nripendra Mishra were present at the meeting. Four members attended the meeting through video link, said trust general secretary Champat Rai.

The decision on the depth of foundation would be taken only after receipt of report of the soil strength test conducted at the site, he said. Samples have also been taken from 60-metre depth by Larsen & Toubro, which is working on the project, added a popular website.

On the completion of the temple, he said the time would be calculated after all the primary work was done.

A website dedicated to the construction of the temple will also be created. The area around the sanctum sanctorum has also been levelled.

It is interesting to note that many fear that the temple construction might be halted if Yogi Adityanath loses out in the next elections.

So they are rushing the construction.

"We need to complete the first phase of construction in the Yogi government's tenure because we apprehend that other political parties may try to create obstacles in the construction work. The Congress, in particular, may try to stall temple construction. Some of its leaders have already said that temple construction should be stalled due to the ongoing Corona crisis," Swami Jitendranand Saraswati had said.
