Bengaluru cops arrest the husband Kaleem Pasha of Congress corporator Irshad Begum, thereby pointing out a firm connection of the Congress party with the violence

Bengaluru: As the investigations into the Bengaluru vandalism and violence continue, the cops have arrested the husband Kaleem Pasha of Congress corporator Irshad Begum, thereby establishing a firm connection with the Congress party.

Quite naturally, the BJP has criticised the involvement of the Congress member.

Prakash S, spokesperson of the BJP put out a tweet thus:

“Cong ke Haath B’lore Rioters Ke saath”Wt d arrest of Kaleem Pasha husband of Cong Nagavara  Corporator Cong role in d riots emerge clearly.vl d Cong expel him now r defend him? @KiranKS @niku1630 @Vishwasshettre @Sharada_naik”

The police have arrested 206 suspects till date and have formed four teams to investigate the matter thoroughly.

The arson and rioting began after the mob took offence to a post, allegedly derogatory to Prophet Muhamad.

But common sense would dictate that the entire incident was orchestrated and meticulously planned. It is next to impossible to help thousands of youth congregate in a matter of a few hours.

Even the reason that the delay in filing an FIR caused the riots certainly has no meaning.

But the real motive is the avenging of the Ram Mandir Temple verdict, the bhumi pujan performed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the enactment of the Citizenship Amendment Act, giving citizenship to persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, reports add that the Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy is dithering to file a police complaint and leaving everything to God, which is only being seen as an attempt not to enrage the Muslim community.

While the role of SDPI is established in the case and Muzamil Pasha, one of its leaders is also arrested, Naveen, the one who put out the derogatory tweet, has also been arrested.

At the same time, chorus for arresting the man who put out a tweet, abusing a Hindu deity, for which the post on Prophet Muhamad came as a reply, is also growing.
