Bengaluru: A 26-year-old man was found lurking around near a women's hostel in Ramanagara, around 50 km from Bengaluru. Thousif is alleged of flashing his private part at women there.
Police say he was found removing his clothes near the hostel in Yarab Nagar on May 5. Some passersby even questioned him for roaming around near the hostel for at least three-four days. But when Thousif reportedly behaved rudely with them, the locals around thrashed him before handing him over to the police.
Relatives of Thousif claim that he is mentally challenged and he was only trying to relieve himself near the hostel. They have alleged that Thousif has been subjected to police brutality. However, the cops claim that Thousif's family is playing the victim card after learning about this case.
A case of sexual harassment and outraging the modesty of women have been filed by the Ramanagara Police. The cops are also contemplating filing a case on the mob that thrashed Thousif.
