Sunni Waqf Board says not satisfied but will accept Supreme Court's verdict. From Rajnath Singh to Nitish Kumar, leaders of various parties expressed happiness over the Ayodhya verdict.
New Delhi: The five-justice bench of the Supreme Court delivered a unanimous decision on the disputed land of Ayodhya. The verdict gave the disputed land to Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas and directed that Sunni Waqf Board be given 5-acre alternate land to build a mosque.
The entire nation including the main contender in the case, Sunni Waqf Board, has reacted to the verdict.

Zafaryab Jilani, Sunni Waqf Board lawyer said, "We respect the judgement but we are not satisfied, we will decide further course of action."
"Ayodhya verdict had a lot of contradictions and that they would seek a review," he added.
Defence minister Rajnath Singh said, "It is a landmark judgment. We appeal to the public to maintain peace and calm."
Randeep Surjewala, Congress spokesperson said, "Supreme Court's verdict has come, we are in favour of the construction of Ram Temple. This judgment not only opened the doors for the temple's construction but also closed the doors for BJP and others to politicise the issue."
Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar said, "Supreme Court's judgment should be welcomed by everyone, it will be beneficial for the social harmony. There should be no further dispute on this issue, that is my appeal to the people."
Union minister Nitin Gadkari said that everyone must accept the Supreme Court's judgement and maintain peace.
Varun Kumar Sinha, lawyer of Hindu Mahasabha expressed happiness over the judgment and said, "It is a historic judgment. With this judgment, the Supreme Court has given the message of unity in diversity."
Reacting on the same, Kartik Chopra, spokesperson of Nirmohi Akhara said, that the Akhara is grateful that SC has recognised the fight of last 150 years and has given the Nirmohi Akhara adequate representation in the trust to be set up by the Central Government to build and manage the Shri Ram Janmasthan Temple.
Iqbal Ansari, one of the litigants in Ayodhya case said, "I am happy that Supreme Court has finally delivered a verdict, I respect the judgement of the court."
Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar said, "I wholeheartedly welcome the historic judgment of the Supreme Court. This has brought joy and relief to people of both the communities from a long-standing dispute."
