Anand Mahindra offers job to 13-year-old who saved niece's life using Alexa

Anand Mahindra posted on X, praising 13-year-old Nikita Basti for her sharp wit and clever solution in saving her niece from monkeys by making Alexa bark. He made a post in which he applauded the girl and offered her a future job at Mahindra. 

Anand Mahindra is an Indian billionaire and chairs the Mahindra group, a conglomerate based in Mumbai. He is known for his interesting and motivating posts on social media. He is an experienced businessman who knows raw talent and potential when he sees one. 

Mahindra recently posted on X (formerly Twitter), praising Nikita Basti, a 13-year-old girl who saved her infant niece's life by using Alexa. He even offered her a job at Mahindra.

He wrote, "The dominant question of our era is whether we will become slaves or masters of technology. The story of this young girl provides comfort that technology will always be an ENABLER of human ingenuity. Her quick thinking was extraordinary. What she demonstrated was the potential for leadership in an entirely unpredictable world. After she finishes her education, If she ever decides to work in the corporate world I hope we at @MahindraRise will be able to convince her to join us!!

Nikita Basti, in an interview with ANI, talked about the incident. Some guests left the house gate unlocked, which allowed the monkeys to enter. The monkeys started looking for food, and she and her niece were alone in the room. 

Looking around for what to do, Nikita spotted the virtual assistant, Alexa and asked her to bark, which scared the monkeys away. This incident showcased the bravery and quick thinking of the girl. 

"Both their lives were saved by such good use of the Alexa device, we were in another room but due to the wisdom of daughter Nikita, she asked the Alexa to make the sound of a dog and hearing the sound the monkey ran away," Nikita's mother told ANI.  

People online are also lauding the 13-year-old for her clever solution. One user wrote. "How can a kid think such an amazing out of the box idea? Today’s generation is seriously beyond our imagination."
