2 Dalit children lynched for defecating in the open in Madhya Pradesh

Two children were allegedly lynched because they had defecated in the open in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district. Police are on the lookout for culprits

Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh) : Two children belonging to the Dalit community were allegedly beaten to death. All because they had defecated in front of a panchayat building in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district. 

The children, Roshni (12) and Avinash (10), suffered serious injuries in the incident and were rushed to the district hospital where doctors declared them dead. 

The incident took place in Bhavkedhi village in the morning, Sirsod police station's inspector R S Dhakad said. Efforts were on to arrest the culprits, he said
